Cheese & Pickle Ploughmans
Cheese & Pickle is so simple, yet such a great combination that it has become a British classic available in pubs and cafes up and down the country.
For the true ploughman’s experience add a side of picked onions, a scotch egg, some coleslaw and a cold beer.
- Split ciabatta or baguette length-ways and dollop one half with pickle and the other half with mayonnaise.
- Spread pickle and top with slices of cheese.
- Spread mayonnaise and top with tomato and lettuce.
- Bring the two halves together and enjoy with a portion of crisps.
