I'm from the UK, so I'll admit I'm a bit fussy when it comes to proper British pies. When I saw the Steak and Kidney pie from Britishop in Bangkok for only THB 99, I figured it'd be just okay. I mean, most pie shops here charge two to three times that. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong.
This pie was packed with plenty of tender meat, the sauce was rich and full of flavour, and even the pastry was spot on. Honestly, for the price, I wasn't expecting much, but it completely blew me away. I highly recommend giving these pies a try; don't let the low price fool you. I'll definitely be ordering again soon
