For the true ploughman's experience add a side of picked onions, a scotch egg, some coleslaw and a cold beer.


Cooking Method

  • Split ciabatta or baguette length-ways and dollop one half with pickle and the other half with mayonnaise.
  • Spread pickle and top with slices of cheese.
  • Spread mayonnaise and top with tomato and lettuce.
  • Bring the two halves together and enjoy with a portion of crisps.
